Hey, beautiful soul, welcome in for your weekly reading, energy check, potentials report for the week of May 1 through May 8, Happy May we have arrived. There is a lot happening in the energy this week, so I'm gonna dive right in because it's a little chaotic. But that doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad thing. So don't get alarmed. We look at the positive and the challenging side of things here. But this isn't really challenge. It just feels like a lot of movement, a lot of shifts, a lot of next chapter. So there could be some things in the overall energy for you this week that maybe had gotten started before and then had to pause and are starting back up, or are just a little stop start in the energy. But there is going to be some fast moving energy as part of this week. Now, this week has a few different page and night cards, which can represent ourselves or can represent another person. So I'm going to give it a few ways, since this is a general reading, we'll see how it applies to each of us, maybe a little bit differently. This first card is Page of Pentacles, and page is really the youngest in the court part of the cards. So the court cards are obviously page knight, queen and king, and the page is just the youngest energy of those and what that means. It doesn't necessarily mean age of a person. It means either that they are not fully developed in their business skills yet or in their abundance. But the bright side of this card, or this personality or energy represented here is this, is this young, determined, fresh new ideas, willing to try new things, willing to work hard, or really give it your all, being really determined, really excited, and bringing fresh new perspective. This card, this Page of Pentacles, these pages in particular, often represent a next chapter. Now it's a little different than an ace card, where it's a whole new chapter of our book. This is is often just kind of next chapter in the series, but it can be the beginning of a new segment of our path, a new version of what's going on. This will apply to everyone, but for those of you that are looking at hiring someone right now or working with a new colleague, let's say this can represent someone that is, again, young in their career, but very determined, very coachable, very teachable. So don't necessarily write someone off this week because they don't have the depth of experience, because that can be made up for in willingness to learn and grow and in this kind of fresh young vibe, determination. So this is a great card, but this is next chapter, opportunity around your abundance. And with this, I want to just say for some of you, this will be looking at your time and making sure that you are allocating time in a mature, wise way. I'm thinking of a friend who seems to always underestimate how much time tasks will take, and this is something we've talked about as friends quite a bit, because I tend to add in a buffer of time, so I tend to be early for things, and I tend to have extra time, which not everyone loves, and you don't have to do it that way, but just making sure that we are allocating enough time for the things that we need to do that we are considering all the aspects of business. I'm thinking of someone else who is just kind of ending one business and starting another. And it's an external from my circle friend. And I know these people through someone, and I talk with this person because this business, they are only considering the money that will come in as a result of their business, but they're not considering their operating costs. So it's things like this with this page energy, it just can be immature. Is maybe too strong of a way to say it, but not as seasoned, maybe so just little heads up to make sure you're dotting I's and crossing T's. But don't write someone off because they are fresh energy. This next card is Knight of Wands, and this is a very fast moving energy. With this, Knight wands often have to do with things we're passionate about. This could be related to your work, or it could be just a personal passion, or kind of a life passion, if you will. And this is just letting us know that there might be some excitement or some shifts in things that we are passionate about or excited about this week. But as part of this energy, I would also expect to see the overall energy of things picking up speed, like in a marked way this week. So that's what I was talking about when I was saying sometimes things seem slow, and then all of a sudden it's like, hurry, hurry, hurry. We have to get this in. It could be that you've been waiting for something to come in, to move forward with, and like several components come together all at the same time. Or someone had you on hold for something, and now they want the whole thing tomorrow. So. Slow and steady wins a race here. I want to say just because external factors or timelines or deadlines are changing very quickly doesn't mean we have to get filled with panic and anxiety. We can choose to be grounded, even if the energy around us is picking up speed. So just hang on to that with this card. This next card is a different type of new beginning. This is Ace of Cups. Now the ace of cups is beautiful because it has this spilling over cup that spirit is bringing in from the side in perhaps an unexpected or new way. And for some of you, there is this little blue heart poking out the top of this cup. And some times, in some readings, this can indicate either an announcement of a pregnancy or a new kiddo coming into the family, or like a marriage and a new person coming into the family. This can be a deepening of an existing relationship, but just know there is room for growth, expansion, deepening next chapter, energy in your emotions, in your relationship space. So if you have been wanting to, as we kind of head into the spring towards summer, wanting to focus on your relationships and gatherings and bringing people together, if you've been getting that nudge already, this is a great validation for you. And this, of course, is paying attention to your own emotions. How do you feel going into this next chapter? Are you really feeling and looking at your emotions? Are you filling up your own cup so that you can give from what is spilling over? That's a bit of a strong caution here. We're going to see it again in just a minute, but making sure that we are restoring our own energy, tending to our side of the street, if you will, dealing with emotions that are coming up for you, positive or challenging, all of the emotions. Because if we're not and we're trying to give from an empty cup or a half full cup, we are just going to exhaust ourselves, which, again, we're going to see a caution about that in a minute. This next card is page of wands. This is our next page. We saw Page of Pentacles and we saw Knight of Wands. So this is page of wands. Page of wands is adventurous. Is inviting us to explore, to try new versions or orientations of our passion, right? So maybe historically, you have really loved to read as one of your passions, and spirit might be nudging you to try your hand at writing or editing or reading in a different way. Maybe it's a different subject you're going to read on. Maybe you're getting curious in this card, actually, there are some sand dunes in the background. They're not big hills that she needs to surmount, just little hills that she gets to explore. This card always reminds me of Egypt for some reason. So perhaps some of you are feeling adventurous and hoping to travel to Egypt in the future, and now you're going to get excited and learn all about it. Right? This is sometimes a learning card where we really can deepen our wisdom, deep in our our well for this passion that we have, but it's also an invitation. It's an invitation to find again, that zest inside of you, that life force energy in this card, the little girl is depicted with, I'm sure a little girl, I guess she's a young girl. Paige is usually kind of teenage type energy, or just not fully matured into whatever it's growing into energy, but she's got a red ribbon in her hair and a red shirt on which is indicating that passion, that life force, energy, that vitality of youth, right? So looking at the things that are kind of peaking your curiosity right now with youthful or fun or fresh perspective can also be a big part of this, as you're choosing what to prioritize and what to make time for next. Now this last card, as I'm saying, what we're going to prioritize next. This is the four of swords. Four often is a nod to balance, so you think about the four legs of a table or chair. This four, this four of swords in the card. It is a person lying on their back in bed with their head over, hand over their face. And there are four swords on the wall pointing down. Sometimes, in some of these cards, because of the flat, you know, nature, two dimensional nature of cards, it can look like the swords are over the person. It's not actually what this card originally meant was having to do with a knight that was coming home from a long journey, a long expedition, a long battle, and really needing to rest, needing to get some calm, needing to shut out the outside world and take a big break. So the spirit of this card still has to do with prioritizing rest, or at least making sure that it is on your schedule, time to rest, time to restore yourself. Remember, we had that caution with the ace of cups about filling up your own cup if you have already been like I said, there's a lot of energy, a lot of business. Ness and shifting energy and swirling energy around us this week. So if you've already been feeling like you're running a marathon and a little exhausted, just know that pushing harder forward could lead to clumsiness or catching a cold or just general exhaustion or careless mistakes. So that is the extra caution this week, is make sure that you are finding some way to schedule in or prioritize or get the rest, recovery, relaxation, rejuvenation that you need, and as part of that, with swords, swords really do have to do with our mental energy. You're not going to be as strong in the mental energy for all of these wonderful, creative and fresh energy and new chapter pursuits. With all this quick, moving energy, you're not going to be as sharp in your mind if you're not restoring yourself and getting the rest that you need. So take a break if you can. Could be a weekend off. Could be a little more than that, if you could get it. But even if it's like, okay for this next two weeks, or even the month of May, I'm going to go to bed an hour earlier, let's just say maybe it's something like that, or I'm going to do all of my lunch prep and morning stuff at night so that I could sleep in 20 minutes later. It could even be small adjustments like that, but make sure that you are leaving extra time, yeah, just because we can get make careless mistakes or quick choices in a way that's not best serving us. But this is a really exciting week. A lot of things can get connected this week that maybe weren't. There might be new opportunities, new people for you to engage with. New Yeah, new challenges or or opportunities being presented to you. So it's an exciting week, very busy and a lot of energy, but let me know how this is showing up for you.
