This week, we are diving into signs of the thinning of the veil, myths, truths and how to tune in for real. Everyone is talking about this idea or thing that we call the thinning of the veil. But it's not just about ghosts or spooky season. It's about clarity, truth, and what happens when you become more aware of both the seen and the unseen worlds. Have you noticed lately the air feels charged energetically, emotions feel closer to the surface. Maybe you've been having vivid dreams or noticing people showing their true colors around you. Well, around this time of year, many of us say, quote, unquote, the veil is thinning. But what does that really mean? In this episode, we are going to look at what actually is happening when the world feels a little more electric and when the unseen feels a little bit closer. We'll explore why this season naturally awakens deeper awareness, how to stay grounded and discerning when energy feels amplified, and I'll clear up some of the biggest myths that drive me crazy, like whether your loved ones can only visit around Halloween or this time of year, or if cemeteries really make spirit connections easier or possible. You'll also learn how this energy can illuminate truth right here in the physical world, helping you see through illusions, recognize patterns and reconnect with your own highest guidance. So if you've been feeling a little bit more sensitive, more intuitive, or even a little off balance lately, this one's for you. Grab your tea. I've got mine, and we will take some deep breaths together, and let's talk about what is really behind the thinning of the veil. First, let me tell you what I know is true, the energy in general, and our personal energy does shift in cycles. And with the seasons, your loved ones are around you all the time, not just for Halloween or the spooky season and the veil, quote, unquote, is more about you moving your awareness, and not something that's being done to you. So let's go a little deeper. First, I just want to remind you I did do an episode about this previously, but a totally different version that is called the fitting of the veil, when, where, why, what and how. Episode 42 from October of 2023 where we explored the origins of this idea across different cultures and beliefs and religions and folklore, shocking similarities and differences, plus we looked at other mystical events and quote, unquote, thin places in the world, including astrological events, sacred locations, phenomena where the etheric veil between worlds is believed to be thinner, so that is more the historical deep dive from that perspective, if you want that also, I will link it in the show notes. But today we are going to talk about this in a different way, and it does drive me a little crazy sometimes what I see in pop culture and on all of the platforms the way people talk about this. So I want to talk a little bit about why. Some reasons are that it might feel that the veil is thinner during this time. One reason is that fall or harvest is a type of death, a type of stillness, a type of passing, a type of transitional energy, right? But I want you to think about it and broaden your mind a little bit, because while the harvest time or fall, you know, the the leaves are falling from the trees, nature is going a little quieter, a little more dormant, but this is also a time for planting seeds. If you are a gardener, or I had a Nan that planted bulbs every year, perennial bulbs. This is the time when those are planted, those bulbs that will grow in the spring and will regenerate year after year. So that is part of. Why the energy feels different right now, in most parts of the world, at least the northern hemisphere, there's a bit of a chill in the air. The light is changing. For many of us in the northern hemisphere, meaning we're getting that darkness a little earlier in our day. For me, I even am aware of the actual sunlight, changing the tone of the sunlight feels different to me this time of year. Most of you know that I live in San Diego these days, and it doesn't. I mean, we do have a crispness at times, but it doesn't typically get cold, like where I grew up in Boston, until a little bit later. And a nod to that, for those of you that are listening, or I guess if you're watching, I have my windows open today. I'm recording from home. Our AC in my building is being serviced today, and it's a little warm, like I said, sometimes California is crispy at this time of year, but sometimes it's toasty, and it is a little bit warm still for us. So I've got the windows open, so forgive any ambient noise. I'll try to edit out if it's needed, but just realizing that, yeah, there's a quieting that's happening. What happens in this season leaves fall. Light shifts, weather shifts. We get quieter in the summer. For most of us in the northern hemisphere, this is probably true in the southern hemisphere. Also, it's just the seasons are reversed. Things calm down as far as activities, especially if you're in a place that experiences extreme weather. Thinking about growing up in Boston, it's the summertime when we're having clam bakes and beach days and getting out in the sunlight, right when the weather starts to shift. What's happening? We're going inside. We're not outside as much the the night time is coming in earlier, where I grew up, often as early as like 330 or 4pm It's already fairly dark, or the light is getting dark, for sure. So we're going inside and quieting down. It's a time for going within. So you have more awareness as part of this quieting of the world. There's more spaciousness, right? We're not so drawn or taken into these outdoor activities and rushing from here to there. You might still be busy in your life, but this energy around us that's changing, quieting the energy of nature, settling that also brings a different awareness to us. As part of this, another little thing that I just want to touch on is and we'll do a whole episode on this soon. But like I was saying that it's time for planting those perennial bulbs, it's time for planting seeds to cultivate, for manifestation, not at the beginning of a new year. I mean, of course, you could do it anytime, but for the biggest impact, it's starting to think now in this harvest time, right? And harvest itself is a type of transition, a type of death. Think about I used to love apple picking when I was a kid, and the cider just tastes different back East. Do you guys have a favorite Fall time treat real apple cider is one of mine. And even picking the fruit off of the tree as we pick it, that's a death, right? The fruit's no longer growing. It's no longer connected to its source of nourishment. We're plucking it and, in effect, killing it, right? But it is part of that transition, and then the apple becomes food or nourishment for us in some other way, right? So our awareness, even unconsciously, subconsciously, is a little bit more towards this transition, this feeling in the air around us, this little bit of electricity. So instead of being scared or nervous about the thinning of the veil, I just also it's another thing that drives me a little nuts. I want to touch in and remind you, I know I've said this here a lot. There are no bad spirits to be scared of, to be nervous about. I do think culturally, because of scary movies and, quote, unquote spooky season, we do kind of feel maybe a little more creeped out this time of year. I keep thinking about when I was young and used to walk home from school, and there's times where it was already getting dark when I was walking home from school, and it did feel a little more chills up the back of your neck of like, Oh, someone might jump out from around any corner. I've got to hurry home right so that is a part of the energy of right now. But it's not because there are bad spirits. So I want to, instead, kind of refocus you onto paying attention to things coming to light, not about bad souls on the other side, or things kind of reaching through the veil to like get you quote, unquote, but about the souls living in this world. There is additional awareness that can be part of this shifting. The energy. I'm going to talk more as we go. I'm going to go in just a minute, I'm going to go through some myths, and then I'm going to tell you how to really tune in and use this energy to your benefit. But I just want to highlight a few things for you, because I think that sometimes, due to, like, the spooky season piece of it, we can get distracted and think, Oh, I'm feeling for the unseen things, but emotions are unseen as well. People's behaviors are not always overt, right? Sometimes they're covert, sometimes they're hidden. Sometimes people are doing things in secret, and we might just kind of get a feeling that something's a little bit off, or that a place has had some arguing in it, or some disconnection or tension in it, right? But I want to make you aware that part of this energy, this being able to see beyond the veil, see the unseen, and it's not a physical seeing with our literal eyes, although in some ways about what I'm about to say, it can be, are you witnessing people's true colors coming to light a little bit more. That is one of the big potentials right now, and some of that in this quieting is just observing people's behaviors, like with your physical eyes, with your listening ears, right, just paying a little more attention to when someone is saying one thing and doing something else, or saying one thing in certain company and something else in different company. That is something that's really available to us right now as part of this quieting down, because, like I mentioned at the top, our energy can shift in cycles and seasons, and that is potentially happening for you right now. So how do you harness it? One of the things is being aware for people's true colors. The other thing is, as another layer to this is noticing patterns, patterns of people, patterns of behaviors, seeing through people's words into their true motives, right? But in order to do that, sometimes we have to get quieter. We have to get more still, and I'm going to talk to you about how to do that. It doesn't all have to do with meditation. It's something you could do totally in the waking state. But if someone is talking to you, right, let's just say it's a boss, and you're as they're talking to you, formulating your responses in your mind, right? One, you're not actually really listening. And two, you're not getting still to observe. You're letting your mind form all these retorts or replies to what they're saying instead of letting that information wash over you. Maybe it's a boss, maybe it's a partner. Maybe it's someone else in your life. While you're listening, shift your awareness to be fully locked in on that person. What are they saying? How are they saying it? What are the words that they're choosing? What is their physical affect, demeanor, mannerisms? If you can observe it, maybe you can. Maybe you can't, depending on how the meeting is, like, if it's on the phone, right? But really just tuning in and listening with all of your senses, how do you feel about what they're saying? Where is it landing? In your body does something that they say, oh, feel like a punch in the gut. Does something that they say. Kind of make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up like wait, we're doing what with that group this season? What's Hold on? What's happening? Does something they say, I always think of an old friend when I say it this way. But does something they say, hang a little longer in the air. I've had many conversations in my life, as have we all, of course, and there are certain conversations with certain people in my life that I couldn't tell you the whole conversation, but there's just one sentence, one line, one piece of that conversation that hangs a little longer in the air that I just remember them saying, right? And sometimes it's like I said the words that they're choosing to articulate something that could have been said in a lot of ways. Why are they saying it like that? And it's not engaging that mental energy to start raking over it and stewing over it and letting your mind get crazy with it. It's just sitting with it. It's feeling it in your body, feeling it in your system, feeling what it brings up for you, right? Not thinking. So okay, I've gone off on a little bit of tangent, just because I this is so important. So instead of being scared or nervous, just open your awareness to be more present. Pay more attention. There are no evil spirits. So it's not like I said that something's going to reach through the veil and grab you. It's that's not it, but something I do want to highlight, I hate that this is true, but it is. The truth is unlimited. Darkness of humanity is available to us on this side. Now, some of you like me have been feeling in. The current world, with the current world events and the current time period that we're in, the things that are happening that we are a little bit in, like upside down world topsy turvy. Things that we didn't think we would see in our lifetime are happening. Things that we thought that we had made boundaries around and rules or laws around, are shifting right? We have free will in this lifetime, which means that we can choose to be the most horrible representatives of humanity. We have that within our potential, there are figures in this world right now that while they're not an evil spirit, they are doing terrible, horrible you could say evil things to other human beings, to humanity, to animals. So there is an unlimited well of if you want to call it darkness, human darkness, that we can step into in our behavior. It's not because we're being possessed. It's not because an unseen force is puppeteering us and manipulating us into it. It's because we have free will, and on this side, we have access to that full spectrum of humanity, that full spectrum of emotions. On the other side, we would never, we would never deem to harm someone else. Because we're connected truly, and we realize that connection, and we feel that connection at all times. I was going to say 24/7, but time doesn't work like that over there. That's a human construct. But on this side, on the human side, in these human bodies, in our Earth school, we have this illusion of separation. So because of that, some people allow that illusion of separation to other different people, right? Oh, us and them. Okay, this group is above and this group is below. So to this group below, we're going to do these awful things or take these things away, right? That is that quote, unquote, dark energy that's all human, that's all of this world, that's all part of this free will agreement, and it's all available to us. So there is a potential that, as part of this quieting, you might start being aware of some pretty nasty human behavior. But it's not evil spirits. So that is my evil spirit diatribe for right now, and it could even be showing up in things like I'm thinking about, like stealing from the poor to give to the rich, or building ballrooms while we are literally stepping over our unhoused brothers and sisters and unwell people, right? So there are lots of horrible things that are part of humanity, but it's not the boogeyman coming to get you from the Spirit side. It's on this side, in this world, in human form, happening all around us, and it's okay to let yourself notice that. We don't need to ignore it or avoid it totally. To a degree, it's okay to check in and out of it for your own mental health and well being, right? But we don't want to bypass it either. So let me go through these myths, and then that is part of what I want to get to, as far as like, Okay, well, what do we do with this energy? How do we harness this energy? If it is that we can be more aware. How do we be more aware of our intuition? How do we be more aware of our loved ones on the other side? Right? But let me go through these myths first, because I think it'll help position us for what we can do when we understand like, Okay, this nonsense is not really happening. So some of the myths that I have come across when I look at this topic of the thinning of the veil, is this idea that it is easier for loved ones on the other side to reach out to us during this season. I have some thoughts about this one. What about those people in the southern hemisphere? Does it mean that their loved ones can only reach out during the springtime, because this is not autumn for them it's springtime. No, it doesn't mean that. Does it mean that our loved ones, you know, are not around during other times? No, it doesn't mean that. So it is not true that our loved ones can only reach out to us, or it's easier for them to reach out to us during this autumn season. It sometimes feels like that, but it again, it's because of our awareness, not because of their availability. It's not like they only get vacation from the spirit world during fall or on Halloween, and then that's when they can come over here and say, Hello. This is not quite the way it works. We're gonna talk more about it. Another myth that I hear that kind of goes right along with this one is that October or Halloween, or times like dusk, early in the or late in the evening, you know when that light is changing and it's turning dark or dawn, early in the morning, kind of right before the sun rises. Are these threshold times, and these are the times when our loved ones are closest. To us. Okay, while it might be true that we are more available during these times, our awareness might be more available at like, let's just say, dusk, when you're or like, when you're just falling asleep and tipping into that sleeping time, or early morning, when you're just your body's starting to stir, but you're not quite waking up. We as human beings might be more available during this time because we haven't, like launched into our phones and busy days and people needing us. So our awareness might be more available, but our loved ones are not more available. They might take the opportunity of that time when you're a little quieter, to move their awareness to you, but they're there all the time. It's doesn't have to do with like them being restricted. Now I want to also point out something to you, because in fact, for example, if you are scared of the dark, let's just say scared of dusk. This is me when I was earlier on in this journey, and before I really understood my mediumship, I always joke and say I would tell all the Spirit people, all the loved ones, like, hey, nobody better show up in this mirror when I'm walking down this dark hall or I'm not going to do any of this anymore. So if you're like me, and there was a time in your life, or even if that's right now, that you got more anxious kind of feeling like it was more scary as it was dark, or if you're in a dark hallway or a dark room and you feel more scared, actually, it may be harder for you to allow yourself to sense your loved ones or the spirit world, because when we're scared, when we're in fear, our system is closed down a little bit more, our Energy is a little tighter, a little bit less available, right? So it almost can be the opposite. It really depends on us, our ability to move our awareness, our ability to become aware. So in fact, it's not that our loved ones are more available during those times, but it really is about when we are most available, when we can move our awareness to them, when we're feeling relaxed and calm and not putting our attention elsewhere, like in our phones or on our life, right? Okay, so if you're scared the dark, that's probably not the best time to move your awareness to your loved ones, and they're not going to be moving their awareness to you, probably because you're just not as available. So I hope that makes sense. Another one of these myths that I need to talk about is this idea that spirit people are only allowed to come close to us at this time of year, but other times that they're more far away or more unreachable. I, as a medium who works all year round every month of the year. Do not find this to be true, and I can tell you that people's loved ones are showing them signs and saying hello and spending time with them regardless of the time of year, kind of like I was saying earlier. I'm half joking, but I'm also being honest that it's not like they're in this far away place, and they get their like annual leave of absence and can take a vacation and come say hello to you during this time of year only. They are available and around at all times of year. And the other piece I just want to highlight quickly in here is that the spirit world, the other side, right beyond the veil is not a far away place. What this veil actually is is it's not a partition, like a physical separation, like a like a wall, right? I keep looking at my wall way on the other side, where my neighbors live on the other side. So it's not like a hard, like physical wall that they live on the other side, and we live on this side. It's a veil, as in an energetic difference between the seen world and the unseen world. The spirit world is a world within our world. So it's just right here among us, all around us, with us, but we are not aware of it, because we are kind of on this side of the veil in our physical senses and the non physical they don't have physical senses because they don't have physical bodies, right? So they are using their non physical senses and communicating with our not their non physical senses, often through our non physical senses, but it's just an energetic separation. It's not a physical separation. So they're not a far away place, often culturally and just in kind of common language, we're taught to think about heaven as being far away or up in the clouds. It's actually just right here. So they don't need to leave from a far away location where they are to journey, to come to where you are. It's not a different physical location. It's a different energetic location. So let's just make that clear. Hopefully, that makes sense the way I'm saying it another myth that I want to quickly dispel is it's easier to connect with LA. Ones at the cemetery. And I know a lot of people do these, like cemetery walks and stuff during this time of year, which, hey, if you're into it and you find it fun and it doesn't freak you out, do it. But I want to say that some people might feel like it's easier to connect or spend time with loved ones at a cemetery, because, again, likely when you're visiting a cemetery, you're probably more still, more quiet, less busy of mind, etc. But your loved ones don't live at the cemetery, even if that's where their physical body was laid to rest. Their soul doesn't live at the cemetery. They're not bound to that place. They have often shown me, actually in readings that, oh, they go with you to the cemetery their soul. They sit with you and spend time with you there, and then they leave with you when you leave. So it's okay if you feel like you enjoy connecting with your loved one at the cemetery or at the beach or wherever, but they're not more connected to you in those specific places. I really do think it has to do more with the way we feel connected to them, with our quieting, our stillness, our availability. One last myth, and then we're going to move on to what to focus on. So these experiences are available to you all year, but are you available to them? That really is the big, the biggest myth, I want to say, where people think, oh, it's only a certain time of year, or it's only a person that identifies as a medium, or that knows that they're a medium. It's none of that's true. The truth is we all have ability to connect with our loved ones on the other side, because we're not actually disconnected from them. They're not actually far away from us. They're just right here. So it's just about us being available to them, moving our awareness to them, quieting our minds, quieting our lives, even just for a few minutes at a time. So it's more about us being available to them than them being available to us. They're available to you right now, at any moment when you're listening to this, whether it's in October or sometime in the future. Okay, so now let's dive into, how can you use this energy and tune in for real? So especially in this time of year, like I said, when things are quieting and we are starting to shift seasons, right? I want to say, keep your own frequency high. What do I mean by that? So we have to be honest with ourselves at the same time, keeping our frequency high has more to do with what we're consuming, what we're being a part of, what we're taking in, how we're spending our time and energy right low vibrational things is someone that needs to be under the influence of a substance all the time, someone that is carrying a lot of anger and resentment and lashing out and not working through those emotions, really just being deeply involved in gossip or hate speech or kind of just that, I don't even know how to say it, It just feels yucky when we're just looking only outside of ourselves at other people and wanting to make them wrong or really it has to do with that challenge side of the spectrum of emotions that anger, resentment, frustration and how we use it right? But be honest with yourself, it's not about not feeling our emotions right? So staying high frequency doesn't mean that it's like, Oh, nope, can't hear your bad news. Can't hear what's going on with you, because I need to be high vibrational, right? It doesn't mean that, it doesn't mean that we can't have empathy. It doesn't mean that we can't look at a situation and have emotions. There's a lot of situations going on in our world right now that I feel really sad about, and I have to let that sadness rise up to feel for my fellow human beings, or our lovely animal beings. And then I can let that emotion move through me. Emotions a lot like the weather, they move and move through us process it. And then I can move back to a higher vibrational frequency, right? But we have to be honest with ourselves, it's not about avoiding every confrontation or conflict or hard conversation, actually, that hinders our energy. That's like a spiritual bypass, where it's like, Have you ever been in a friendship or a relationship where it's like, there's a really, like, an elephant in the room, or really hard thing that we need to talk about or that we're feeling, and it's kind of like, well, if we pretend that it's not there, then it's not there. This is not true. We all know that, right? And that's going to drag us down even more, holding on to that thing and not saying it, not feeling. Not working through it, whether we need to work through it on our own or have that hard conversation with another person, but we don't have to live in that difficult emotional energy forever, right? Okay, so tipping towards higher frequency, I would highly recommend getting grounded every day, even several times a day, if you don't have a grounding exercise that you like, I have a$27 course that will teach you all about grounding and tuning into your higher self and how to get really aligned. That is called the right decisions course and playbook. So I'll put that in the show notes too. If you want it, you don't have to do that method of grounding, but getting grounded, right? Drawing your energy in making sure that you are aligned with your highest self, with your soul self, aligning your energy not with the toxicity of the world, which can be kind of easy to get swept into, especially right now, right? But taking moments to come back to yourself, remembering who you are truly as a soul, not who you are in relation to your to do list and tasks and roles that you play and things that you're responsible for, but who you are as a soul coming home to you, right? Some people find that therapy helps them with this. Other people find meditation helps them with this. Some people find just taking a walk helps them with this. Whatever tools you have that you need, just coming back to yourself, aligning with your own soul, self or higher self, energy, and not aligning with the toxicity of this world. One way that I've heard it, that I love saying it is observe, but don't absorb especially if you're a healer, and if you're here, you are probably a natural healer. Know it or not, like it or not, you hold space and love and give guidance to those around you. So those of us that are natural healers, our energetic intention is often to match the person that needs the most healing in the space. We don't do it consciously. Typically, it's just something our energy does. But we don't need to absorb all of that difficult energy of a situation, of what's going on with our friends, of what's going on in the world. We do need to observe it. Right? We are not here to be kind of holed away in our little places all by ourselves alone. We're meant to be in community and in relationships. It's part of why we come here to Earth school. But we don't need to absorb everything and hold it all. We just need to observe it. So observe, but don't absorb another thing that I really want to highly encourage you to focus on, all of these things I'm about to tell you highly encourage you to focus on, and it is part of this energy, because with this quieting down, there is more time and space to come back to yourself. There is that shifting of light where things are just getting a little more still. There is a chill and a stillness in the air available. So another thing that I would highly recommend that you do is this is a quote from Maya Angelou. Some of you might know, when someone shows you who they are, believe them. And I want to even extend this to when someone tells you who they are, believe them. I can't even tell you how many times in my life someone has said in conversation, oh, I'm about to swear so plug your ears, or plug your kiddos ears, oh, I'm an asshole. I'm a total asshole to everyone. Why I didn't used to listen to that when someone said it is beyond me. It's from an unhealed place, obviously. Or I would think, Oh yeah, that's just how they are in the world. That's not how they're going to be with me. Or, oh yeah, I cheat all the time. I take advantage of any step ahead I can get. I take it right when people say these things or behave that way, believe them. It's not just about how they're treating that other person, how they are in that work situation, how they are in this contract or obligation that they have, that's who they are. So when someone tells you who they are, believe them, or when someone shows you who they are, believe them. If they have the ability to just lie out of their face to everyone, even when you could see they're wearing a blue shirt and they're telling you they're wearing a green shirt, right? Obviously, it's not going to be that example, but when someone tells you who they are or shows you who they are, please believe them. And again, remember, as part of this quieting down, there is the potential for you to observe much more of someone's behavior, true motives, how they actually are, who they actually are, how they are showing up in these situations and just in their day to day life. Are they considerate? Are they inconsiderate? Are they rude? Are they oblivious to those around them or to the feelings of those around them? It's all these little nuanced details that. Can perceive fairly easily if we just get quiet or get still, if we're not thinking about ourselves or our response, that we can have so much more clarity and intuition right now as part of this thinning of the veil type energy. So when someone shows you who they are, please believe them. I'm always working on this one, obviously myself. Another thing I'd love you to focus on is getting mindful. What do I mean? Pay attention. Be present. Have you ever driven somewhere that is very familiar to you? Maybe you're driving home from work. Maybe you're driving on an errand that you do pretty regularly, and you're driving along and thinking and in your own head, and then, you know, 1520 minutes later, you're pulling up to the place, and you don't remember the play by play, turn by turn, every stop sign getting there, you just kind of went on autopilot. That's what I mean. We don't want to be on autopilot through our lives right now. We want to be present in the moment. That's what I mean by mindfulness. If you are distracted and in your own thoughts, you will be missing the things in this world that are showing up to get your attention right now. How do you expect to notice the subtle non physical world if you are not available to notice the things going on in this world right now, and the non physical, those subtle energies, our subtle senses, the Claires, often you'll hear them called that's not just something to be used when we're thinking about the spirit world that's available to us all the time, just as part of how we go through the world, right? And sometimes, if you're a little bit more present, you just will notice things happening in the people that live with you in your life, or the pets that live with you in your life, in the things going on in the world around you, right? So if you want to be aware of those subtle energies, subtle emotions, subtle clues going on around you, you must be present energetically. We all think about stuff in our own mind, right? It doesn't mean don't think at all. It just means make sure that you're not so lost in thought, so in your own head, so focused on you, that you're not available and aware for those subtle little things moving towards you in the world. And it can be something as simple as like, missing signs, missing patterns, that kind of thing, but it's kind of like I was giving that example in the with the boss or the relationship if they're speaking to you or speaking on a call and you're present, let's just say and you're so busy thinking about, Oh, your grocery list, or the stuff you still have to get to in your inbox, or what the heck you're going to say back to them as part of this conversation, you're missing all of those subtle clues, the body language, the things they're saying, the demeanor, the way that you're watching them think in response, right? So please be mindful. Pay attention, be present. That is one of the biggest ways to start opening yourself to allow your awareness, and it really is just all about our awareness. Your loved ones could be jumping up and down energetically, doing a song and dance right beside you right now. And if you're not present and available, you wouldn't know it, because it comes in so subtly most of the time, that non physical energy is often very, very subtle. Okay, next thing I'd love you to pay attention or focus on right now, to really take advantage of or harness this energy, is to make notes of the things that you are noticing, the nudges, the synchronicities, the things that you might call quote, unquote, coincidence patterns. Make a note of them, a mental note, a physical note, if you can, I prefer a physical note. It could be on a sticky if you're a sticky note person, it could be in the notes section of your phone or a voice memo. But do not dismiss or judge. Just note right? It's kind of how we were saying in a conversation. Note that thing that they said that just stuck out to you, even if it seems so subtle like it doesn't make any sense in the conversation. I actually have an example of this. I have a friend recently, and some changes are going on in the place that they work now, because they're my friend, we can kind of look at the subtle energy anytime we want, but I've been encouraging this friend to use more of their own intuition in exactly this way that I'm telling you now, to just notice coincidences, things that hang a little longer in the air. To you, and they were telling me, yeah, I just feel unsettled like there's a lot of. Meetings happening that not all of us are a part of. And there's a lot of extra people kind of coming and going from the office. And, you know, I actually noticed that they're kind of dressed up. They don't seem like a contractor, like they're going to do a remodel. It seems like business people, and it seems like, you know, and then so I ask a little bit of questions, because the truth is, we always notice more than we think we notice if we let ourselves notice. So I started just offering some questions. Well, what kind of, what kind of demeanor did they have when they were going into the meeting? Oh, well, they were cordial, but, you know, a little bit stiff, a little bit, you know, it didn't seem like a casual meeting. It seemed a little more serious. Okay, well, did you observe them when they left the meeting? What kind of, what kind of attitude did they have then? Oh, well, you know, it's different every time. But there's this one person that always seems very stressed out after these meetings, and actually is kind of grumpy for the rest of the day. And I was like, Oh, just make a note interesting. And then there's one day that that grumpy person had to leave early, and I was like, oh, did you notice anything interesting about either the time that they left or, you know, was anything strange about that? And they said, well, actually, them leaving early at all was a little strange. And now that you mentioned it, I did notice that they said that they were going to a different a different meeting at a different work site, a different, you know, location that we have. And actually they were taking some things with them that seemed like they might be going to play golf. Actually, I was like, Oh, interesting, interesting. So there's always these little subtle clues and cues and things that we might just think, oh, that's just a coincidence, or, Oh, that's just a, you know, that's just a, I just keep seeing this butterfly, and I don't know why, but it's about noticing those things we could so easily dismiss, right? Oh, no, that's just Bob. He just has meetings all the time, and sometimes he's happy and sometimes he's sad and he just he's moody, whatever. But instead, you could be noticing that, ah, when Bob meets with these three people, he's always in a bad mood after I wonder what is happening there? What do I know about those people? Right? So there's always much more going on that, yes, our logical mind is involved to a degree, but it's not our logical mind driving the synchronicities, the coincidences, the patterns, the things we notice. It's it's just holding it right. So I wish I could have an example of the thing that was like a little longer in the air. I can tell you one, but it's so personal, I'd like to adjust it a little bit, because this person is still, is still alive. You know, I'm just thinking about someone that I was in a relationship with, and one time, it was just a super casual conversation. Nothing was wrong, nothing was going on. And it was really interesting, because this person had a very strong idea. They had a company car at the time, and they had a very kind of strict way with themselves with this company car. They did not do personal errands on company car time. They did not consume any type of like alcohol if they were going to be in this company car, they had some very just personal, strict guidelines that they followed as a part of using this company car, even though they weren't like policed, there was no, uh, there's no, like camera inside this company car following them To see if they did a personal errand, right? And then one day, when they were talking to me, and we were talking about, how was your day? What did you do, they mentioned that they did this personal errand as part of their day, that even though it wasn't a crazy errand, it wasn't a crazy thing to do, because they were so adamant about being offended when people did personal errands with company cars, that they never did that over a long period of time, that that just stuck out to me as like that is weird, that's that's interesting, and it just was a little, not even a coincidence. It just was a little something that I noticed and I hung on to, and later it strung together with a thread on a thread of other strange things like that that it, I kind of could piece it together and understand that, oh, they're meeting someone that they're not supposed to be meeting in times of day when they're not supposed to be meeting them. So I know that's a little bit of an elusive story, but I don't want to go into too many specifics, because this person's still alive, but so it can be things like that, just something that you notice that you are like, Why am I noticing this detail? Right? And make a note of it. So try really hard from now, if you can, forever, but at least until we. Get to the holiday season to just don't dismiss things that are highlighted to synchronicities, signs, coincidences, patterns. Try to be in non judgment, right? Try to just instead of getting upset or angry or being judgmental, just notice. Just try to be a little more neutral. And let yourself notice. Resist the urge to go into a mental spin about like, what does this mean? What are they? What is happening here? And just hold that information and see what else you know. See what else you notice. NOTICE being a very important word here, seeing what else is revealed to you, right? Because this thinning, this additional ability to use our six senses, right? Is about us noticing more in this world, being more available. I've got a few more things, ways that we can really harness this energy, because I really think like, let's focus on us, right? Let's focus on you, and what you can really use this energy to do right now. This energy is perfect for creative inspirations as a part of your experience right now. So those nudges that are coming in, not just about other people, other situations, other things going on in the world, but those nudges that are coming for you, maybe you notice there's a certain color you're really drawn to all of the sudden, or as a part of this time period, maybe you notice that there's certain friends that you're starting to want to drift away from, or starting to want to move towards. Maybe you have a nudge or a recurring inspiration or thought or synchronicity across your path that's making you feel like one I've had recently is that I need to get back to painting and return to I'm a bit of a crafty gal at times. I love arts and crafts, so I've been tipping into that a little bit more, but I do keep noticing this little stirring, this little nudge, this little inspiration around actually diving into bigger pieces of artwork, painting. Now, what does that mean for me? Maybe it's just a different way to use my creative energy, maybe as a part of that exploration of that side of myself. Maybe there's more there for me to know or have or understand, right? It's not about, okay, well, I want to know what's going to come of this before I do it, because I don't want to waste my time. It's not that it's following these nudges as they come up, or even just noticing them if you don't feel ready to follow another way to really tune in and get the most of this energy is being aware and tightening up your own boundaries, boundaries around your energy, boundaries around your time, boundaries around what you do and do not engage in. And again, you have free will choice. So it's just noticing what is working for you and what is not working for you. But Don't overextend yourself, right? So maybe it's you just refocusing on, you know what? I do feel a little bit extra sensitive right now. I don't know what it's about, but I do feel a little more Prickly, a little more like I need some alone time. Can you let yourself honor that? Can you not over commit yourself? Could you commit to an earlier bedtime? Right? And it doesn't mean you have to go to sleep earlier. If you're like, Well, I'm not tired earlier. It could just be you're going to say, Okay, I'm going to be in bed by x PM, and during that extra time, I'm just going to have some unwinding time, or I'm going to have some journaling time, or I'm going to have some doodling time, or maybe you're going to turn off all devices a little earlier and braid your friend's hair, whatever it is, what are the boundaries that you need right now, and honoring those to give yourself a little extra time to have a little more quiet, so that you can be in this energy even more and there is a very strong possibility that as you get quieter and can break out little bits of time for your own stillness, your own quiet contemplation, not a driving, thinking, pushing, busy mind. That you will be a little more aware of your loved ones from the other side, saying hello, or spending time with you, with the presence of them, right? You can also think about reviewing your energetic contracts, agreements, particularly in your relationships. We are in the season of relationship as far as astrology, so just reevaluating or checking in on touching in on those energetic contracts. Perhaps there's a relationship that you had that this person has historically called you and complained and just dumped emotions all over you, and maybe you're deciding, you know what, I'm actually not available for that anymore. I still want to be their friend, but I no longer am going to give them two hour blocks of my time to just emotionally. Really vomit all over me, right? It could be something as easy as that, that you just don't agree to that anymore, and you could directly have a conversation about it, or you could just start pulling back your time and not being as available. That is up to you. I would take a look at the emotions around it. Why you're feeling different. Maybe you're just more in alignment with yourself and realizing, actually, I do want to support this friend, but this is not the healthiest way for me. Maybe you decide, okay, well, you know what? Instead, let's do a 30 minute walk and talk, and we can move our bodies, and I can also hear what's going on with them, and that is what works for me, right? So getting a little bit more clear about what you agree to, what you don't agree to, what you agree to instead as part of this. Because think about like the harvest, the overturning of the soil, we're turning over our agreements, particularly in our relationships. And how are you showing up in your relationships? And do you like it? Is it as the best version of you? And if it's not, why not? Is it because you're too tired because you're giving away your energy in other places. Is it because? Why just getting a little more clear with yourself? We won't go through all the reasons it could possibly be another thing to look at right now as part of this season is planning family or community gatherings for togetherness. Now I know for many of us, we are about to come into that season towards the end of the year where there are lots of events and parties and things to attend and dinners and friendsgivings and holiday extravaganzas and all of that. But you don't have to agree to all that. If you find it invigorating and fun and exciting, have at it. But if you are someone that's like, you know what? Actually the truth is, I have a social battery that I can only do, maybe four parties in a season, maybe one party in a season, whatever it is for you. Or maybe I have a social battery that I don't really like to be in big groups of people. I actually prefer either a very small group or maybe just one on one time. It's again, being really honest with yourself about yourself. And I definitely would be checking in on your social battery and being honest about that as part of this boundaries with your own energy. But I would also because this time of year, in the quieting and in the going within while that's very important for some of us that do lean a little bit more to liking our alone time anyway, it can really make us push everyone else away. So we don't want that. We want some version of middle ground right where we are also engaging in community and gatherings and togetherness that feel good to us, that honor what we want to experience, and then again, being very present for those moments that you've committed to. Maybe we're turning off devices only allowing, you, know, to be on the phone in an emergency. Maybe we're playing a game together. Maybe we're each writing a question, a really interesting question. We're gonna all go around and answer the questions. Whatever it is for you that feels fun. Maybe we're just gonna all eat pudding. I don't know it feels lovely to you, but intentionally planning these family gatherings for togetherness as part of using the energy of this season in the best way you can focus on intentions right now. Remember, it's about planting seeds for your future manifestations right now. So I want to be really clear about this, that planting seeds, focusing our intentions, is not about control. Now so many people, I'm about to do another Ask a medium, anything episode, and I have gotten so many questions around, well, the thing I want to manifest is not manifesting yet. And what am I supposed to do between now and then, or I don't like the way that this thing is manifesting, that this job is going and what am I supposed to do now in kind of demanding a certain result, our intentions and the way that we manifest, it's not really gonna jive with the energy of control and rigidity and demanding. So instead of when we do intentions, and if you guys want a manifestation and intention setting episode, please let me know I'm happy to do one. It's actually really fun work if you're doing it in the best, most aligned way, but focusing on intentions. It's not about demanding. Okay, I want this in this quantity, in this way, this one result. Well, we're not allowing clarity to unfold, because what can happen in this very magical, special, quieting time of year is that if we focus on what we truly want as our intention, not just a thing, right or a specific relationship, but how we want to feel, why do you want that thing? Why do you want that relationship? What. Is it going to bring you in the emotion, focusing on the emotions of the intention, and not trying to control definitely, not trying to control other people, not trying to control the outcomes of situations, just leaving that control at the door. And it manifests and shows up in different ways, for for all of us, and in lots and lots of sneaky ways, but this idea of manifestation and focusing on intentions control limits clarity. So if you are trying to control every aspect the way something rolls out, demanding something to show up in only one way, you're not allowing clarity to unfold. So as you're focusing on these intentions, focusing on clarity around the next steps with your intention, not controlling the outcome and getting also clarity on why do you want that intention? Why do you want that thing or that person, or that feeling, that emotion? So not only identifying the emotion that's underneath the wish or intention, but also the why, what's it going to bring you? Is it joy? Is it freedom? Is it expansiveness? Is it that you want to truly know yourself more, right? So whatever your intentions are, this is one of the best ways to use this energy right now, not because we're going to get the thing right. I mean, there are some probably good sales coming up right around the corner, so get the thing if you can. But it's not about that. It's about getting more clarity as the steps and path to whatever this intention unfolds. It's about clarity right now, information, intuition and knowing that this thinning in the energy right, this electricity in the energy, this quieting in our world right now, is giving you the opportunity to really allow, I want to really highlight that word, allow your clarity and awareness to be front and center, whether that is clarity and awareness about that meeting, that relationship, that conversation, or whether it is awareness of your loved one just beside you, because they are available right now, whether you believe that the veil is thin or not right now, I can tell you like I said, I do this work all year long, and your loved ones are as available to you on Halloween at midnight as they are on July 9, as they are on April 7, as they are on any day that you want to pick up the year, they're equally available. They love you the same. And that's whether it's loved ones that have crossed over, ancestors that you knew or didn't know, wise mentors, maybe that you had at one point in this life, or maybe that you read something that they wrote before you were born, spirit guides, angels, whatever version of unseen world that you're really wanting to understand as part of this thinning of the veil time, it is about your awareness, your allowing, and are you creating an environment within yourself that you are available to be aware, whether it's someone saying something and you're available to be aware of like, oh yeah, they're saying that, But something in the energy is not matching up with what they say. Okay, I don't know exactly what yet, but I have a little more clarity. It's about a little more clarity, a little more availability, a little more allowing. And if you do want to create some time and space to sense your loved ones or your guides, I just re release that spirit guides. Episode for you guys, it's about you getting quiet, not just the energy around us getting quiet, but you getting quiet. Maybe that means taking a walk. Maybe that means spending some time journaling. Maybe that means creating a quietness ritual for yourself, which could look like anything from like candles and and essential oil diffusers, or it could look like doing yoga, anything that quiets you, that makes you feel a little more still, right? And it doesn't have to be an actual physical stillness. I actually often feel very quiet when I'm going for a walk, there's a quieting of my energy that happens. So that is what we are looking for, the quieting of our energy, the quieting of the energy around us, and moving our awareness to be available, to even just sense or know or have that loved one or that guide come to mind, right? So it's really all about your awareness and your allowing, at this time of year, the thinning of the veil, or this veil between worlds, this focus that we have, that is so on only what's tangible that we can see, hear, touch, right? And. That veil being lifted is really about us allowing our awareness to expand to what's not being said, what's happening in the subtle energy, what's stirring in your emotions, what emotions are happening in this conversation right now? What little nudging or wiggling, or what's bubbling up to your mind or your awareness, right? That's really what it's about, because the other side's available to us all the time. But are you available to them? That's really what this quieting time of year about. So is about so hopefully this has made sense to you. Hopefully this is helping to refocus you so that you can actually feel or sense or know that the other side is with you, if that's what you're hoping for this time of year, but also so that you could start getting more clarity about the things happening in your life, in your world, and, more importantly, the things stirring within You, because, after all, you are the one in this physical body, in this human experience, and there is so much more clarity for you to have about whatever is showing up for you in your world right now.
